• Is this the right page to submit an abstract for the ERES Conference?

  YES, you are at the right page. You have to have an account with a valid email address and a self-selected password. To create your free account, click the button "Create Account" on the top right.

• Why do I have to create an account?

  Mainly for security reasons. In previous years, we could only hope that the submitter really was the person he/she claimed to be. This created substantial work for the local organizers of the conference. With your account, you can also edit your abstract, check the status of your submission, registration, and conference fee payment.

• Are there any costs involved?

  No! Your account and using the conference system is for free.

• Do I have to create a new account every time I want to participate in an ERES conference or event?

  NO! You should create ONE account and use that for all future ERES conferences and ERES events. If you forgot your password, use the "Reset Password" option on the Login page.

• My email address has changed. What should I do?

  If you still have access to your old email, login with that, add your new email address in your profile and make it the primary email. If you cannot access your old email anymore, send us an email.

• What benefit do I have from creating an account?

  The account based system comes with a number of benefits for the users. First, you need to enter your personal data only ONCE. When you have created your account, you can attend ERES conferences or ERES events just by logging in with your email address and password on login. The account based frontend also allows us to provide you with a range of services. For example, you can contact other conference participants and exchange messages with them via the ERES conference app.

• Can I add a photo, my affiliation, and other personal information?

  Yes! Click your name at the right in the menu bar and select My Profile. This will bring up your personal profile where you can upload an image and set other information. Other participants will be able to read this information.

• Was my abstract submitted correctly?

  After your submission has been stored in the database, the system sends confirmation emails to every author. Sometimes, however, these emails get caught in spam filters or are not delivered for some other reason. To verify the proper submission of your abstract, login and click on Conferences. If you find the title of your submission under "Your registered abstracts", your abstract was stored in the database correctly.

• I submitted my abstract more than once. How can I correct this?

  As long as it has not been accepted by the local organizers, you can edit and delete your submission. Login and click on Conferences. Then, click the trashcan icon of the submission you want to delete.

• I need the submission ID of my abstract. Where can I get it?

  Login, click on Conferences, and move the mouse cursor over the title of the respective abstract. After a second or two you will see the submission ID and the abstract.
